This page is maintained by HoneyBee Notes to explain how we handle personal information when you use our website and services (together, the "Service"). This is a plain-language summary, not a substitute for professional legal advice.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email when you sign up, and (optionally) an authentication token from Google if you sign in with Google.
- Content you create — the vows, speeches, letters, and prompts you write or generate in the app.
- Usage information — basic analytics such as pages viewed, features used, and error diagnostics so we can improve the product.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of purchase but not full card details.
How we use information
- To provide and secure the Service, including generating drafts you request.
- To communicate with you about your account, purchases, and important service updates.
- To improve the product in aggregate. We do not sell your personal information.
AI processing
When you generate a draft, the inputs you provide are sent to a third-party large language model provider for processing. We choose providers that commit to not using submitted content to train their public models. Do not paste information you would not want processed by a service provider.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the app (hosting, database, authentication, payment processing, AI model providers) and only as needed to deliver the Service. We may also share information to comply with law or protect our rights.
Retention and deletion
Your drafts remain in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Email us at privacy@honeybeenotes.com to request deletion of your account and associated content.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Contact us at the email above and we will honor applicable requests.
