Why HoneyBee Notes

Built by someone who has actually been at the wedding.

Most AI wedding writers were built by engineers who have never held a couple's hand through a vow rehearsal. HoneyBee Notes was built by a wedding photographer and officiant who has done it 780 times.

Frequently asked questions

How much does HoneyBee Notes cost?+

$18.99 for a full year at the early adopter price — one flat, one-time fee with no subscription and no surprise renewal. Regular price rises to $89.99/year once the launch window closes, so locking in now covers you all the way through the big day.

How long does it take to write my vows?+

Most couples have a full first draft in under 10 minutes. You tell us who you're writing to, a few real memories or inside jokes, and the tone you're going for — we hand back three variations to choose from and build on.

Will my vows actually sound like me, or like a template?+

Like you. HoneyBee Notes isn't a fill-in-the-blank template — it's built to pull in your specific details and steer away from cliché. You're always the editor. Read every draft out loud, keep what sounds like you, change what doesn't.

How long should a best man or maid of honor speech be?+

Aim for two minutes or under — long enough to land a few good stories, short enough that the room stays with you. Our toast tool caps drafts at roughly 220–260 words for exactly that reason.

Can I write a funny speech and a heartfelt one and mix them?+

Yes — you can blend tones however you want: heartfelt, funny, poetic, silly, or any combination. Most of the best toasts do a little of both.

Is the morning-of letter private?+

Completely. It's meant to be printed and hand-delivered to your partner, not shared anywhere else. We format it print-ready in a clean serif type so it feels like a real keepsake, not a printout.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to use this?+

No. Sign in with Google or email, pick a tone, and start typing what you know — memories, jokes, how you feel. The tool does the structuring; you do the feeling.

How it's made

How vows and wedding writing are reviewed and produced.

Two layers: a writing engine that drafts from your specifics, and a human editorial standard that shapes every guide, example, and safety guardrail on the site.

Editorial standards

Written and reviewed by a real wedding pro.

Every guide, example, and blog post is drafted or outlined by Louis — a wedding photographer and officiant with 30 years and 780+ weddings in the aisle — then edited for accuracy, tone, and pacing before it goes live.

  • · Firsthand experience, not scraped from other wedding blogs.
  • · Every article shows Published, Last Updated, and Reviewed By dates.
  • · No fabricated stories. No invented quotes. No affiliate steering.
  • · Corrections made in place — and noted — when we get something wrong.
  • · Your inputs are never used to train third-party models.

Writing methodology

How a vow, toast, or letter is produced.

The writing engine drafts from the specifics only you know — names, memories, in-jokes, promises, blended tones — with structure and pacing built in. The model is your first draft; you are always the editor.

  1. 1. You share names, relationships, memories, and one or more tones.
  2. 2. A curated system prompt enforces structure — opening, promises or memories, close.
  3. 3. Vows return as three parallel drafts in slightly different registers so you can compare.
  4. 4. Toasts are capped near 220–260 words — the two-minute sweet spot.
  5. 5. Guardrails block slurs, punch-downs, and any fabricated facts about real people.
  6. 6. You read it aloud, revise, and make it unmistakably yours.

Privacy-first

Your vows are yours. Full stop.
